Dear Parents /Carers
Welcome to the new Autumn Term 2016 at Icknield Primary School.
Our vision for the school is "Everyone working together, feeling safe to learn, rising to challenge and achieving their very best". We are reminded in every day in school to believe in ourselves and to follow our 3C' of Care, Co-operation and Communication.
Through these shared goals our children continue to exceed our high expectations; they are true ambassadors for us all and constantly make us proud by their polite, friendly and welcoming manner. This is repeatedly celebrated by staff, applauded by visitors to the school and acknowledged by those facilitating external events.
Sharing the positive values of home and school, we continue to develop the links between school, families and the community. We are confident that our children will grow up to be responsible, happy and successful.
As a school we are moving from strength-to-strength and many of the improvements we have made, and continue to make following our 'Good' Ofsted rating, are as a result of your support, encouragement and willingness to share ideas.
With the continuation of our Home-School-Child Agreement philosophy we look for your support in building strong relationships between home and school and working successfully together.
We look forward to welcoming you into school when the opportunities present themselves but especially if you feel you need to talk to us.
I wish us all a very successful Academic Year 2016-17.
